Ruth is completing two novels, Erosion and Sweet Scent of Success.

Her background ranges from acting and stagemanaging in theatre, television (Emmerdale), scriptwriting on Bob the Builder, her own monologues at Wigan Pier, a short film Home Game about domestic violence, to poetry in various anthologies for United Press.

She has one published novel, Meeting Coty (Kings Hart Books.)

At the moment she is an Associate Lecturer at MMU in scriptwriting on the Contemporary Film and Video BA (Hons) Course and dances with Juba do Leao, a performance group (The Contact Theatre, RNCM, the Welsh Encontro, Not Part of Festival, Piccadilly Gardens, streets of Oldham...).
